Pamela Evans: Helping Others Heal After Losing Her Veteran Son to PTSD
Pamela Evans, based in North Carolina, shares a powerful story of loss, resilience, and healing. On January 3, 2020, Pamela and her husband faced the unimaginable tragedy of losing their only son, SPC Daniel Allen Evans, at the age of 38. Daniel, a United States Army Airborne Infantryman and Afghanistan veteran, battled the invisible wounds of PTSD. Although he planned to seek healing with Dan Jarvis, he first wanted to complete his treatment through the Veterans Administration. Sadly, the burden he carried from the war was too overwhelming.
The grief journey for Pamela and her husband has been profound—an experience they wouldn’t wish on anyone. Yet from this deep sorrow, Pamela found a new mission: helping others navigate the pain of loss and trauma.
Today, Pamela Evans is a certified practitioner in the Jesus Protocol, Trauma Resiliency Protocol (TRP), Emotions Management Process (EMP), and Trauma Resiliency Protocol-Peer Rescue (TRP-PR). She firmly believes these evidence-based healing tools are essential for recovery from PTSD, trauma, and grief. Pamela is passionate about walking alongside others who are struggling, offering hope, support, and a path toward lasting emotional and spiritual healing.
