Holly Higgins

Holly Higgins, a Gold Star Mother and Healing the Hero Peer Coach in Trauma Resiliency Protocol and Jesus Protocol, driven by the loss of her son, Senior Airman Daniel J. Johnson, killed in action in Afghanistan in 2010. A former Registered Nurse and Social Worker, she now channels her grief into supporting veterans, first responders, and Gold Star families as a Keynote Speaker and Certified Story Coach with The Heroes Journey. Through storytelling, she promotes healing and resilience, honoring her son’s sacrifice while inspiring purpose and hope in others. A wife, mother of seven, and grandmother of eight, Holly’s mission reflects her son’s courage and patriotism.
