Dan Jarvis

Dan, a former Deputy Sheriff with 6 years at Polk County Sheriff’s Office, specialized in uniform patrol, crime suppression and narcotics. He served 12-years in the U.S. Army as a Combat Infantryman, he was awarded a Bronze Star in Iraq after a 15 month deployment. After Iraq he shaped soldiers as a Drill Sergeant at Fort Knox from 2008-2010. After his time on the trail he immediately went to a deploying unit in Alaska, and on this deployment he was awarded a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in combat in Afghanistan (2011-2012). Dan holds a Master’s in Public Administration and is pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology. Dan founded 22ZERO in 2018 and launched Healing the Hero in 2024 with Abel Rodriguez, aiming to transform PTSD, depression, and anxiety treatment for veterans and first responders.
