Healing the Hero Mission Ambassador-US Army Combat Veteran-Afghanistan
Cameron Cushman is a Montana-based filmmaker and former Army Infantryman who believes storytelling isn’t just about creating content. It’s about capturing something real and making people care.
With over 16 years of experience, he has worked on globally aired TV shows, documentary films, and commercial projects, helping brands, veteran nonprofits, and organizations bring their stories to life. His work isn’t just about making things look good, it’s about creating films that connect with people and leave a lasting impression.
As a veteran himself, Cameron has made it his mission to tell as many veteran stories as possible through film. But whether it’s a veteran nonprofit, an outdoor brand, or a major commercial client, his focus is always the same, storytelling that feels authentic, draws people in, and delivers impact.
Beyond filmmaking, Cameron is also an advocate and speaker, using his platform to push for better veteran mental health, challenge limits, and share his own story of growth.
Between filmmaking, advocacy, and storytelling, he’s working on a book that might take years to finish. But his focus remains on helping brands, nonprofits, and organizations tell their stories the right way.
