USMC Battle of Ramadi 2006-LEO/SWAT
Combat USMC-0311, Law Enforcement Officer/SWAT
Alex Hayes is a Combat Marine, law enforcement veteran, and Trauma Recovery Advocate who has spent his life on the front lines—protecting others while carrying the unseen weight of service.
Alex served two combat deployments with the United States Marine Corps as part of Small Craft Company, operating in high-threat environments where precision, aggression, and teamwork were non-negotiable. During the Battle of Ramadi, Iraq in 2006, he was shot through the thigh in combat and awarded the Purple Heart—a distinction that reflects both the cost of war and the resilience required to keep moving forward.
Following his military service, Alex continued his mission of protection at home. He spent a year as a security contractor with Triple Canopy before serving 13 years with the Lakeland Police Department in Polk County, Florida. During his law enforcement career, he operated at the highest levels, including 10 years on SWAT and 5 years as a SWAT sniper—roles that demand absolute focus, discipline, and the ability to perform under extreme pressure.
But behind the performance… there was a cost.
Like many warriors, Alex spent years protecting others while silently battling his own internal fight. The cumulative weight of combat, critical incidents, and years of operational stress began to take its toll—impacting his health, his identity, and his family.
In 2025, Alex made a decision that would change everything.
He confronted the darkness head-on and stepped into the healing process through Healing the Hero. What followed was not just relief—but transformation. Through the Trauma Resiliency Protocol–Peer Rescue (TRP-PR), the Jesus Protocol, and the support of a team that understands the warrior mindset, Alex began achieving what once felt impossible—sobriety, clarity, and becoming the husband and father he was always meant to be.
Today, Alex stands on the other side of that fight—not as someone who has it all figured out, but as someone who has walked through it and come out stronger.
He now uses his story to help others realize they’re not alone—and that healing is not only possible, it’s within reach.
In 2026, Alex expanded his mission by becoming an insurance broker with HealthMarkets and a certified personal trainer—continuing his commitment to helping others protect what matters most: their health, their families, and their future.
Alex Hayes represents what Healing the Hero is all about—warriors who have carried the weight, found a way forward, and now lead others to do the same.
